This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

1. Copy the code and click GET THE DISCOUNTIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET THE DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart, not Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and click Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—this skips the cart, so later you won’t have a place to enter the coupon. Before that, make sure the variant is correct: color, version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Continue to Checkout via the cartA pop-up will appear: Added to cart!—tap Check it out. If it disappeared, open the cart using the icon in the bottom-right corner. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then tap the red Checkout button. Only the items marked with the red circle are included.

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

We tested the 20 W version

The seller Cafago provided us with a Xiaomi 20 W wireless car charger for testing. Delivery was from a Chinese warehouse, and we chose Duty Free Shipping, where the seller promises duty-free delivery. And it really works—the package arrived relatively quickly, in 13 days, and we didn’t have to pay any customs fees.

In the box, besides the charger itself, you also get a 12 V adapter for the car socket, a USB C cable, and a mount with a sticker for the windshield. That way, the wireless car charger can be placed either in the air vent grille or directly on the front windshield.

One great feature of this charger is the automatic opening and closing of the arms as soon as you bring your phone closer to the charger. The design includes a built-in infrared motion sensor, which is what makes the arms open.

Charging happens at 20 W, so it’s not extra-fast charging. However, for a quick top-up in emergencies, or for slow charging while you’re navigating for a few hours using GPS, this charger is excellent. Basically, it’s a car phone holder with charging as a bonus.

Charging at 20 W

Xiaomi is also writing another world first with the fastest wireless in-car charger. Its maximum output is 20 W while it supports input up to 27 W.

The charger also works as a smartphone holder, which is handy, for example, when navigation is running. It’s fixed the classic way into the air vent grille.

But the Xiaomi 20 W wireless in-car charger isn’t a standard charger/holder. It includes motorized arms that automatically open when you place your smartphone on it.

Once you set it down, it automatically closes. All of this works thanks to a infrared motion sensor.

“The feature” that creates an insane impression. The video below shows it perfectly.

The surface of the wireless charger is glass with 2.5D curved edges. After you connect the power cable, a blue ring LED lights up automatically, visible when you’re driving at night.

To charge more efficiently and prevent overheating, there’s also a dual cooling system implemented with its own fan.

The charging panel arms can be spread to a width of 81.5 mm, making the charger suitable for most mobile phones that support wireless charging.

The charger is powered via a USB Type-C connector. In the box, you’ll find a power adapter and even a cable. So you don’t need to buy anything extra.
