Xiaomi 12 Pro leaked in real photos. We also know some of the specs

In the last few hours, several images of the upcoming model Xiaomi 12 Pro leaked. It will be unveiled on December 28. We can see the final look of the new device in them, but it’s a shame that we won’t get a CUP selfie camera.

We know the final design

The leaked images come directly from the Chinese Xiaomi Store, where they were meant to serve to promote the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone itself. So we can see a few color variants of the new device.

It’s blue, purple, black, and green. Some variants will have a different back finish, so they’ll be easier to hold in your hands and the smartphone will look even more attractive.

The design of the Xiaomi 12 Pro model will be based on the basic 12tka. The front will be the same; we can expect a large display with gently curved edges. The selfie camera will be placed in a cutout, so we won’t get a CUP camera hidden under the display, as previous leaks suggested.

There won’t be many differences compared to the base 12tka

So when it comes to the display, it will be 6.73 inches, 2K resolution, and an up to 120Hz refresh rate that will be able to change dynamically thanks to the LTPO technology. The processor will be shared with the base Xiaomi 12, meaning the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is currently the most powerful processor made for Android smartphones.

The main difference will be the arrangement of the cameras. The main sensor will be from Sony with 50 MPx resolution, followed by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and with the same resolution we can also expect a telephoto lens. More details will be revealed during the conference itself.

The battery will have a slightly lower capacity than we’d expect. It will be 4600 mAh with support for up to 120-watt charging. You’ll be able to charge the device wirelessly at 50 W, and there will also be reverse charging with 10 W.
