And that’s official. Xiaomi has shared the official launch date for the expected Xiaomi 13T series via its social network X (formerly Twitter). It will be a pair of models from the lightweight flagship category.

Xiaomi has finally come with a specific date, although earlier it was mentioned that the first days of September were possible—however, the truth is a bit different, and it will be at the end of this current month.

Launch at the end of the month

Specifically, Xiaomi has announced September 26 as the official date, at 14:00 our time. So the reveal is coming up in under three weeks, and there’s definitely plenty to look forward to.

In the posted teaser poster we can also see the Leica company logo, so the information is confirmed that the cameras really will be great—possibly even better than in the case of the Redmi K60 Ultra, from which the Xiaomi 13T Pro model will be derived.

Promising specs

This model should feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 144 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, and charging that reaches up to a maximum of 120 W; wireless charging will be missing.

The less equipped Pro-less model should also get a 6.67-inch, 144Hz AMOLED display, with performance handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Ultra. Charging will be capped at 67 W here as well, but wireless charging won’t be available either.

IP68 certification and price up to 1 000 EUR

A major improvement in both cases should be the presence of IP68 water- and dust-resistance certification. That’s something that was criticized in previous generations, but Xiaomi will finally fix it.

So we can look forward to truly high performance, a premium design, Leica-tuned cameras, and a price under 1,000 EUR. On board, there should be Android 13 together with the MIUI 14 custom skin.
