Xiaomi is now focusing on several projects, with one of them being the lighter-flagship Xiaomi 13T series. According to leaked information, the devices will be presented on the European market as early as September.
The firmware is ready
According to the latest information, the European firmware for the upcoming Xiaomi 13T model is already ready. Xiaomi 13T has the code name aristoteles and the latest internal MIUI build is MIUI-V14.0.7.0.TMFEUXM.
Also in the works is a more feature-packed sibling, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, but its firmware isn’t ready yet. However, the new device will be unveiled as early as September this year as well. Its latest internal MIUI build has been revealed as MIUI-V14.0.0.39.TMLEUXM.
High performance
When it comes to performance, we already know that the more powerful Xiaomi 13T Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, meaning it will be the very first smartphone sold outside China with this chipset.
The base model Xiaomi 13T Pro is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, so this is a fairly new chip that you can also see, for example, in the POCO F5—and performance-wise it’s very close to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
We also know that both new models will come with Android 13 and the MIUI 14 overlay. More details are not available yet, but September isn’t far off.
Interesting price tags
The Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro novelties look more and more interesting every day, and you can expect them for real in less than two months. We’re still curious about their launch prices—whether they’ll increase compared to last year.
Those pre-order prices have already leaked, and they suggest that Xiaomi 13T will be sold for £599 and the pricier sibling for £799, which could mean €599 or €799 for us.
