Even though Xiaomi 14 only saw the light of day about half a year ago, the Chinese manufacturer is already fully preparing to unveil Xiaomi 15, as revealed by fresh information leaks.
Reliable leaker Digital Chat Station shared on the Chinese social network Weibo some interesting updates about a device powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
A new periscope as well as an ultrasonic sensor—testing is already starting
Although the leaker doesn’t mention specific models within the series, it’s generally speculated that the leak concerns the Xiaomi 15 flagship. This series is expected to come with major upgrades, including a new periscope telephoto lens and an on-screen fingerprint ultrasonic sensor. According to the leaker, the device should start testing as early as this month.
Information from Digital Chat Station suggests that Xiaomi will offer consumers two screen-size options in the new Xiaomi 15 series — a 6.36-inch display on the “base” model and a slightly larger one on the “Pro” smartphone model.
Both models are reportedly set to support impressive resolution options 1,5K, or 2K. As for the main camera, leaks indicate that Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will most likely feature their own 50-megapixel primary camera.
