Popular Chinese company Xiaomi is launching a new product: a stylish backpack with a built-in fan. It offers up to 3500 revolutions per minute, and will ensure relief especially in hot summer months.
Backpack with a built-in fan from Xiaomi
In the market, there are various types of backpacks—for example, ones that can transport your pet at home. However, the new model has a built-in fan for cooling. And that’s exactly the kind of backpack the brand Xiaomi is now presenting through its crowdfunding platform Xiaomi YouPin.
This interesting backpack is well-suited for the summer period when the thermometer shows high temperatures, above 30°C. In addition to pleasant cooling for your body, it will also protect your electronics in the backpack from the effects of high temperatures.
The backpack comes from partner brand Korin. The cooling system hidden in the back panel consists of a fan with a total speed of 3500 revolutions per minute. The design of this cooling is intended to work efficiently for cooling both the user and the contents of the backpack.
The manufacturer also states that the backpack is made from more specifically unspecified, water-resistant textile materials. So you can comfortably carry your smartphones, laptops, or accessories without having to worry about rainy weather. For your products, you can use well-placed internal compartments with enough space.
Another advantage of this model is the external USB port for charging the mobile devices you have inside. And to make matters even better, the construction also includes several special straps that help you secure the backpack during transport—e.g., together with a suitcase.
Price and availability of the new Xiaomi backpack
This interesting Xiaomi backpack with an integrated fan starts selling exclusively in the domestic, Chinese market. It’s available via the Xiaomi YouPin platform at an official retail price of 499 Chinese yuan. That comes to approximately 72 € / 74 USD at the current conversion. We don’t yet have any other available information about possible official global availability. So you’ll have to rely on offers from international sellers, for example on Aliexpresse.
