The new Xiaomi Instant Water Purifier Q800 can also dispense boiling water

Xiaomi has an endless range of home gadgets in its portfolio. Recently, it unveiled a completely new water purifier via the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform: Xiaomi Instant Water Purifier Q800, which can dispense boiling water in just one second.

A refined design and plenty of smart features

This great Xiaomi Instant Water Purifier Q800 is genuinely well made. Thanks to its minimalist design and neutral colors, it fits right into any kitchen without any trouble. The dimensions of 158.5 mm x 427 mm x 429.5 mm are definitely acceptable, so the purifier itself won’t take up much space.

It offers an impressive water flow of up to 2.15 L per minute, comparable to the flow of a standard household faucet. You can place the purifier directly under the sink in your kitchen counter, saving valuable space.

On the top part of the faucet you’ll find a handy touch display that shows the water temperature or the dose amount. It can bring the water to a boil in fantastic one second.

It also offers a variety of heating settings, so it can easily replace a coffee maker or an electric kettle. If you have a small child at home, the 45 °C setting will surely please you—it matches the ideal milk temperature for infants. Other options include room temperature mode (25°C), coffee mode (85°C), and boiling water mode.

Thanks to the well-thought-out water filtration system, you don’t have to worry about water quality even in places where it’s heavily contaminated. Its cleanliness is handled by a RO filter, which is complemented by a secondary RO filter. The manufacturer states that this filtration unit should last up to 5 years of continuous use.

The Xiaomi Instant Water Purifier Q800 also comes with WiFi connectivity, so you can add it as another device in the Xiaomi Home app. The price on the Chinese market was set at 3799 yuan, which is roughly €527 in conversion.
