Our favorite Chinese company Xiaomi has officially introduced its compact laser printer, called Xiaomi Laser Printer K100. It also includes wireless printing in its equipment, can handle up to 20 pages per minute, and features fast pairing thanks to an NFC chip.

Xiaomi K100, as we can briefly call this laser printer, impresses at first glance with its minimalist design. It has a compact body with dimensions of just 331 x 178 millimeters. The small size is an advantage not only at home, but also in an office. Especially users with a smaller desk or limited space will appreciate it.
The Xiaomi laser printer has a USB connector for printing directly from the device, as well as wireless printing. Thanks to the NFC chip, you can quickly connect your device to the printer and also get easy access to the printer app. That way, you can print your documents directly from your smartphone with just one tap.
In terms of features, besides printing from your smartphone, there’s also scanning, automatic edge detection, and manual document optimization or editing. Multi-page scanning is also available, and it can sort them into a single .pdf file. The original toner from the manufacturer can produce up to 20 pages per minute, with high quality and no smudging.
The printer’s construction is designed for replacing the toner cartridge. The replacement from the manufacturer costs 249 yuan (approx. €34) and can print about 1500 pages per use. In other words, one print page costs only about €0.02, which makes it a very efficient device for printing with an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
Compared to the predecessor, the AIO K200 model, the Xiaomi Laser Printer K100 is a more affordable option. While the K200 offers slightly better technical specifications and is intended for more demanding customers, the K100 is suited for everyday needs in a standard household. So it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a compact solution without spending too much money.
Price and availability of the new product
The new laser printer, labeled Xiaomi Laser Printer K100 , is coming to stores in China at an introductory price of 849 yuan (about €115). A bit later it will be available at a higher retail price of 899 yuan (about €122).
