DxOMark updated the camera test for Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and it’s back on the photo podium

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro returns to the top positions in the photographic ranking DxOMark as the company’s flagship smartphone. This happened after a new analysis by the popular portal.

With a total score of 128 points, it also jumped ahead of some of the newest competing flagship smartphones that are a few hundred euros more expensive with their photo setup.

DxOMark’s test lab normally, as part of its intensive testing, evaluates the camera, display, and sound of leading and top-tier flagship smartphones.

Now the portal has carried out a new analysis of Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Pro device, which is why this smartphone has returned to its podium place in the photo ranking.

Although the model originally labeled Mi 10 Pro landed in fifth place, after retesting it is now moving up to the third spot in the photo ranking.

That’s due to an update carried out by DxO Mark’s dedicated testing lab. The update specifically involves changing analytical methods in order to assess the photographic qualities of top smartphones.

The leader is still the flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra; the second place is Huawei

As a result, we can currently consider the Chinese brand Xiaomi the king of photography. The ranking is led by the model Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra with 133 points, and now Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has also joined it in third place with 128 points. The second spot between them is occupied by the competing flagship smartphone Huawei P40 Pro.

Let’s not forget that DxOMark testing in its test labs doesn’t take into account only the final, i.e. end photo. The outcome of exhaustive professional tests is also a detailed analysis of all the camera’s features, as well as its optimization and software.
