Xiaomi Mi 10T stands out with a 144 Hz display
Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G is a cheaper variant from the pair of new Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro models. Design-wise, both models are almost identical, but the differences are in the available color variants and also in the hardware configuration.
Mi 10T has dimensions of 165,1 x 76,4 x 9,3 mm and the weight is stopped at 216 grams. So it’s 2 grams lighter than its Pro-labeled brother.
One of the biggest attractions of the Mi 10T series smartphones is the 6.67″ IPS LCD display with an extremely high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. To reduce battery consumption, Xiaomi developed AdaptiveSync technology, which intelligently adjusts the refresh rate depending on the content you’re viewing.
So the display doesn’t run constantly at 144 Hz, but for example, in the case of video it switches between 30 or 60 Hz. As soon as you turn on a game, the highest refresh rate gets activated. In the display specs, you’ll also find the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, i.e. Full HD+, HDR10+ technology, and the P3 color gamut.
Solid performance, quality camera
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 7 nm manufacturing process is responsible for performance here. For graphically demanding tasks, it’s supported by the Adreno 650 graphics chip, and multitasking is handled by 6/8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The UFS 3.1 internal storage for the Mi 10T model offers only one option, namely 128 GB. The smartphone does not support expansion with a microSD memory card.
The compromise compared to the Pro model comes in the form of the camera. As the primary sensor, a 64 MPx Sony IMX682 sensor with a 1/1.7″ size and an f/1.89 aperture was used, unlike the Pro model, where you get the well-known 108 MPx sensor.
The camera offers a maximum 10x digital zoom and unfortunately, in this case you won’t find optical image stabilization. The main sensor is also complemented by a 13 MPx ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5 MPx macro sensor. It also doesn’t lack the ability to record 8K video at 30 fps or 4K video at 60 fps.
In the display cutout area, there’s a 20 MPx Samsung S5K3T2 camera with an f/2.2 aperture, night mode, HDR, or a 720p slow-motion video.
Modern 5G and a huge battery
When it comes to connectivity, there’s no shortage of modern and fast 5G connection, complemented by the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and Bluetooth 5.1. Precise navigation is ensured by dual GPS with Glonass and A-GPS, while NFC takes care of contactless payments.
Thanks to the infrared port, you can control your favorite home appliances. Mi 10T is a full-fledged DualSIM smartphone with slots for NanoSIM cards.
The highlight is the fingerprint sensor placed in the side power button. This solution delivers convenient operation and, thanks to the capacitive sensor, incredibly fast unlocking. Face unlocking is also added for security.
You’ll be happy with 33W fast charging and a battery with a solid capacity of 5000 mAh. The package is rounded out by linear stereo speakers and the latest MIUI 12 version of the software.
