A color that stands out
It wouldn’t be a Xiaomi smartphone without a great price-to-performance ratio. Mi 8 Lite comes with a luxury-looking glass build. Especially interesting is the variant called Aurora Blue, featuring a purple-blue gradient finish on the back. An elegant, all-black model is also available.
The front page features a 6.26″ IPS display with a not very large cutout for the camera. Content is shown in FullHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080 px) with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display, thanks to the Reading mode feature, protects the user’s eyesight by removing the harmful blue color.
Decent performance
When it comes to performance, user demands are handled by a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. Even graphically demanding games won’t be a problem thanks to the Adreno 512 GPU accelerator.
Smooth multitasking is powered by sufficient and fast 4 / 6 GB RAM LPDDR4x memory. For your data, there is 64 /128 GB internal storage ready. There’s no need to look for a microSD card slot. All the hardware is powered by a 3350 mAh battery with fast charging support via the USB Type-C connector.
An upgraded dual 12 MPx camera
The back panel is home to the dual camera. It consists of a primary 12 MPx sensor that integrates 1.4μm large pixels, an f/1.9 aperture, and Dual Pixel autofocus. It’s backed by a 5 MPx Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with 1.12μm large pixels. It’s designed for stylish background blur in portrait shots.
This pair is complemented by up to a 24 MPx front camera. Sony IMX 576 was used with a 4-in-1 Super Pixel technology and 1.8μm pixel size. The camera doesn’t lack for artificial intelligence, selectable scenes, or an HDR mode. In addition to 4K video at 30fps, the rear camera can also record 1080p video at 60fps.
Full equipment for Slovakia and the Czech Republic
Since it’s an official global version, the smartphone is fully set up for our markets. DualSIM with full 4G LTE connectivity, including the 800 MHz frequency, with Slovak and Czech language support in the MIUI 10 system, plus the original European power adapter.
Just unpack the phone and start using it. From now on, there’s even a new feature available: face unlock for the Czech Republic region.
