Flying with drones is becoming more and more popular and more searched-after every year. Whether it’s racing with FPV drones or recreational flying on vacation to get great shots, in both cases it’s a really interesting and fun activity.

Certification companies often don’t protect their certificates or patents very well, and many times it’s exactly thanks to these certifications that we learn early information about upcoming products. This is also the case with a new drone from the portfolio of the Chinese giant.
We don’t know much about this drone yet. What we do know is that the drone itself should be able to communicate better with the charging station and, as a result, land on it and start charging the battery on its own, without the need for manual intervention.
For this task, a built-in GPS should be used, but we’re still curious how the whole system will work exactly. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more details about this drone yet. The product name could theoretically be Xiaomi Mi Drone 2.
In the comments under the article, you can write whether you own a drone—and if so, which one. We’d love to read your opinion. We personally are really looking forward to the brand’s return in this segment, and we’re curious what the company will ultimately reveal.
