The updated electric scooter is called Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 1S. It’s based on the base model M365, but it fixes one of the most criticized issues—the lack of a display.

Not much has changed compared to its predecessor. Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 1S still comes with a powerful 250 W motor, which can push performance up to 500 W even on the most demanding terrains. The maximum incline the scooter can climb is 14°.

The maximum speed is fully sufficient at 25 km/h, and the range reached a value of 30 km.

Of course, you should take this figure with a pinch of salt, because the stated range is for ideal conditions. A full battery charge takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes.

The original M365 scooter model had 2 riding modes; the new one follows the Pro model with three riding modes – ECO, the standard “D” and the sport “S”.

The ECO mode allows a maximum speed up to 15 km/h and is designed for more efficient riding.

In the second, standard D mode, the maximum speed capped at 20 km/h. Finally, the sport S mode delivers the highest starting torque and also the maximum speed of 25 km/h.

Other features include energy recuperation when braking, the IP54 ingress protection rating, front and rear lights, and app connectivity. The maximum load is 100 kg and the scooter itself weighs 12,5 kg.

The Mi Electric Scooter 1S is equipped with high-quality 8,5″ tires that ensure a comfortable and safe ride under all conditions. Safe riding is also handled by the rear disc brake and the front motor brake.

The scooter also offers a folding mechanism with a durable hinge, making it a much more compact and practical device.

When unfolded, the dimensions are 108 x 43 x 114 cm, and when folded they are only 108 x 43 x 49 cm.
