Xiaomi has introduced a new product from its computer electronics lineup. It’s a Xiaomi Mi Inkjet All-In-One wireless printer, unveiled for the home Chinese market.
It impresses with great features and, above all, a very low price.
Very low price and efficient ways to use it
The price of the new model is set at 499 yuan, which is roughly €63 / $70. Currently, the printer is available only through Xiaomi’s official Chinese e-shop.
We expect that in the very near future it will also be added to the lineup of well-known international retailers, and we’ll definitely let you know.
The new wireless inkjet printer will delight you with three working modes. Xiaomi claims the device can print, copy, and scan. That’s why many people will be pleasantly surprised by such a low price.
One of the biggest advantages of the printer, however, is support for wireless connection with the device it will get print data from. Of course, there’s also the classic option using a USB cable.
Dozens and dozens of prints with Xiaomi’s new device
The manufacturer says the new model uses high-quality ink that also has no unpleasant smell. Xiaomi Mi Inkjet All-In-One is said to print 480 black-and-white pages or 150 color pages from a single full cartridge.
Copying and scanning content can reportedly also work in two modes. Besides color scanning, it also offers pure black-and-white to preserve the quality of handwritten content.
What’s more, scanned and copied content can be sent immediately to your smartphone, thanks to a dedicated app.
The printer features a simple control panel on its body. Xiaomi also claims that once you connect the device to a computer, the required drivers will be installed automatically—so after the first plug-in, you can use it fully right away, which will please any potential buyer.
A new cartridge won’t cost you much
Wireless printing support is guaranteed on both mobile platforms Android and iOS. As for the price of a new cartridge, according to Xiaomi, it should come to just €8.69 after conversion, regardless of color.
It’s also worth noting that the company sells three printers in its home country right away. These are the Pocket Printer, Photo Printer, and Inkjet Printer models. The new release thus completes a great lineup of four, but it’s not yet clear whether it will be officially sold outside China.
