We’ll have to wait longer for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. We won’t see it in the first half of this year either

Xiaomi also has its own tablet lineup. Still, this half of the year, we won’t get a new addition to the Xiaomi Mi Pad model line. Reports are coming from China that we’ll see the tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 a bit later.

The new tablet series will be unveiled later than you might expect

The release date of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is being pushed back by a significantly longer period than you’d initially expect. The official debut of the upcoming new model is now slated for the second half of the current year.

This info has already been confirmed by the company’s product manager, Wang Teng Thomas. On the other hand, it’s clear that we’ll get the next generation of tablets with the Xiaomi logo. Fans, though, need to stay patient.

You can look forward to several models from the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 lineup

The tablet model line Mi Pad 5 will include at least three devices, which is great news. That way, most people will get what they’re after.

At least two of the tablets should come with processors Snapdragon 870, or respectively MediaTek Dimensity 1200. The main Mi Pad 5 will stand out with a large display.

The panel’s diagonal will top out at 11 inches, so it’ll be a solidly big smart helper. We’re talking about a LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.

So Mi Pad 5 can also appeal to gamers—not just people focused on productivity. And there’s still a 8720 mAh battery added to all of this that will power everything. We assume the tablet will last a very long time on a single charge, depending on how demanding your usage is.

To sum it all up, you can look forward to a tablet that looks very promising—or rather, several different tablet models that will most likely be officially announced during the summer holidays. We’ll be happy if we see them already in July.
