Our favorite Chinese company Xiaomi has officially unveiled its most advanced air purifier, the Xiaomi Mijia Full-Effect Air Purifier.
It has an unusual design, eliminates 99,99% of bacteria, and you don’t need to replace the filters.
Xiaomi Mijia Full-Effect Air Purifier Ultra: One of the best in the world
Right at first glance, you can see that the new Xiaomi Mijia Full-Effect Air Purifier definitely stands out from Xiaomi’s usual air purifier design standards. In terms of aesthetics, it’s a fairly bulky device that looks like it’s been assembled from four blocks.
It measures 350 x 350 x 736 mm and weighs up to 14 kilograms. That’s why the manufacturer has integrated practical wheels at the bottom for easy carrying. The air purifier is also known for its low noise level of just 30.7 dB (in quiet cleaning mode) and it also features Wi‑Fi connectivity (802.11 b/g/n).
On the side there is a fairly large LCD panel complemented by touch buttons. Using these elements, you can control the individual operating modes of the air purifier. Coverage is from 49 – 84 m², with clean air flow up to 700 m³ per hour. Power consumption is around 70 W.
Thanks to the built-in UV six-layer filtration, it eliminates up to 99.99% of bacteria and can even remove up to 98.72% of all allergens in the room—something especially appreciated by users who are sensitive to various allergies.
The positive news is that with this air purifier, you don’t need to buy replacement filters. Up to 5 out of 6 filtration layers can be removed and washed by hand. Plus, it’s a smart product, so it also comes with remote control thanks to a connection with the well-known mobile app Mi Home (known as Xiaomi Home here).
Price and availability of the new product
This new air purifier with a unique design starts selling on the Chinese market. The official retail price is set at 3999 Chinese yuan. In today’s conversion, that’s approximately €540.
We don’t have any additional information about a possible global version.
