A new generation of smart gateway

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Gateway features a neutral, minimalist design and comes in white—an option that fits any interior. And if not, it doesn’t even have to be on display.

The device has a built-in dual WiFi antenna that uses the wireless technology 2 x 2 MIMO. It delivers a stronger signal, better wall-penetration capability, and wider coverage. In open space, the transmission distance can be up to 200 meters.

Wide-spectrum connectivity

The Xiaomi Mijia internet gateway supports multiple wireless communication protocols, including ZigBee 3.0, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth 5.0. Thanks to the Bluetooth Mesh Networking feature, users can build a network with multiple connected devices.

In total, you can connect 32 different smart home devices to this gateway. These can be lighting elements, air conditioners, air purifiers, or vacuum cleaners.

It also supports security features such as cameras, locks, and doorbells, as well as thermometers and watches. Simply anything that makes up a modern smart home.

Installation is simple. Just turn on the Xiaomi Mijia gateway, search via your smartphone using the MI Home app or Apple HomeKit, and add it to its menu. After successful setup, you can make further settings according to the instructions in the apps.

Supported controllers include not only smartphones, but also all devices running Android 5.0 or iOS 12.0 and higher versions.

Through the gateway, you can easily set it up so that connected smart home elements behave according to a predefined scenario or work in a specific mode. For example, after unlocking the smart door lock, the lighting will turn on, the desired temperature will be set, the smart TV will switch on, or the robot vacuum cleaner will stop working.

Voice control via the smart assistant XaioAI and Siri is also supported. Xiaomi Mijia Smart Gateway reliability is backed by several successful certification tests such as Bluetooth Alliance, WIFI Alliance, Alliance, China RoHS, and others.
