A bunch of smart functions
Let’s start with a feature that makes this robot vacuum truly intelligent—the new navigation system. The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 1C uses one of the fastest navigation systems that can collect up to 30 000 reference points per second.
These data are then used to create more accurate and faster maps than ever before.
Plus, thanks to the professional OV vision sensor, it uses a simulated neural network algorithm that is able to recalculate the route up to fifty times per second.
In simple terms, this vacuum cleaner is one of the most intelligent on the market. It can map your space faster and more efficiently than older generations.
The navigation system is supported by two gyroscopes and a multi-position optical sensor, plus another 15 different high-precision sensors.
This makes the vacuum cleaner’s location and obstacles in the space more accurately known, so it avoids unexpected situations.
All of the operations of the Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping Robot 1C are controlled by a quad-core Cortex – A7 processor with a performance of 1.8 GHz, which is equipped with a dual-core graphics chip Mali 400.
The algorithm that enables perfect navigation is called VSLAM. It’s an innovation of the previous navigation algorithm named SLAM.
Great performance specs and long battery life
When it comes to cleaning performance, a powerful NIDEC motor made in Japan is in charge. It has a suction power of up to 2500 Pa, so it can easily handle different types of dirt—even those it can vacuum from floor gaps.
The dustbin has a capacity of 600 ml, and the outgoing air is cleaned with a water-washable filter.
The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1C can also mop. The water tank has a 200 ml capacity, and an electronically controlled intelligent system ensures even water dispensing.
The device measures 353 x 350 x 81.5 mm, which lets it fit under furniture with a clearance of over 8.2 cm. The vacuum can climb over an obstacle that’s as high as 2 cm.
The battery has a capacity of 2400 mAh, which is enough to clean an area of up to 120 m² on a single charge. It also supports wireless connection via WiFi.
Using the Mi Home app, you can pair the vacuum with your smartphone and control or check its operation remotely.
As we already mentioned in the introduction, one of the main advantages of the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1C is its price. With this price, it’s by far the cheapest robot vacuum under the Xiaomi Mijia brand.
Even though we expect this price to rise after entering the global market, it should still be among the most affordable Mijia robot vacuums. Considering its performance and features, it’s going to be a highly sought-after device.
