It vacuums and mops
The Xiaomi Mijia Sweeping Robot G1 can be considered a sort of more affordable version of the already widely available model Mijia Sweeping Robot 1C. The new model comes with a Japanese NIDEC motor with a solid suction power of 2200 pa.
In addition to vacuuming, the vacuum cleaner can also mop. It includes a 200 ml water tank with an electric water pump that controls the water flow.
You can set the water regulation in three levels. The regulation is done via the app.
Another advantage of the vacuum cleaner is its fairly thin body. It has a height of only 82 mm, so it will fit even in narrower spaces under the bed or sofa.
The vacuum cleaner can overcome obstacles up to 17 mm high, which is a bit less than what other Xiaomi models handle (2 cm).
Smart features
Even though it’s the cheapest Xiaomi vacuum cleaner in the portfolio, it still comes with smart features. The foundation is a smartphone app, and it works with the already well-known Mi Home app. The connection is made via WiFi with the 2.4 GHz band.
Through the app, you can also control the vacuum cleaner remotely or monitor its work in real time. The Mijia Sweeping Robot G1 (MJSTG1) received intelligent route planning, so it cleans your home as efficiently as possible without missing any spots.
It also features artificial intelligence and the option to connect with a voice assistant. Since only the Chinese version of the vacuum cleaner is available at the moment, it supports the Chinese voice assistant XiaoAI.
As for the battery, it has been given a capacity of 2500 mAh and the manufacturer states a runtime of 90 minutes of cleaning. If the battery runs out during vacuuming, the vacuum cleaner returns to the charging station.
After charging, it automatically returns to the place where it previously stopped and finishes its work.
