Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW200 is a new addition to the Xiaomi smart camera family that not only protects your home, but also lets you do even much more. For example, you can communicate with incoming guests, record timelapse videos, and stream live footage to your smart display. Since it’s a compact camera, you can also use it indoors.
Compact camera with solid specifications
This outdoor camera comes with a very good image quality, with Full HD (1920 x 1080 px) resolution and a lens aperture of f/1.6. The camera supports H.265 encoding, which is more efficient than H.264 and ensures higher stability with lower bandwidth requirements.

The infrared night mode with 940 nm wavelength helps deliver good image quality at night—so you’ll see better even in very dark conditions, without red artifacts in the image.
Smart functions in the Mi Home app
After pairing the camera with the Mi Home app, you’ll receive notifications when it detects motion and when it identifies a person in the frame. The camera also comes with fun features—for example, it lets you record a timelapse video of the sunset in your garden.
You’ll even be able to use a smart display compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and watch the camera live directly on it.
Communicate with guests
The camera has a built-in speaker and microphone, so you can not only identify a guest but also communicate with them easily. It works up to a comfortable distance of 5 meters. So if you spot an uninvited person on your property, you can let them know you’re there right from your phone.
The Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW200 won’t be moved by the elements
The camera comes with water and dust certification IP65, so you don’t have to worry that this camera won’t hold up outside. Whether you face tough garden conditions—or an unexpected rain shower—the camera with a speaker and microphone will still serve you well.
