Two new products from the tech giant Xiaomi have received Bluetooth certification from Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group).
Specifically, we’re talking about the Mi TV Soundbar 2 and the Mi Treadmill, which received this certification only recently.
Xiamo Mi TV Soundbar 2
Xiaomi currently sells its first-generation Mi TV Soundbar speaker. This product is well known on our site and is owned by hundreds of happy users. However, the mentioned model could be its successor.
In the certificate, it’s stated that the device name is 2.1 Soundbar and the model number is MDZ-35-DA.
The model number is not only similar to the first generation, which is labeled MDZ-27-DA, but also to the rumored Redmi soundbar — Redmi Soundbar 2.0 (MDZ-34-DA). It received certification last month.
What’s also surprising is that the new soundbar should feature only Bluetooth 4.0 instead of the newer 5.0.
Xiaomi Mi Treadmill
As already mentioned, Bluetooth SIG also certified the Xiaomi Mi Treadmill product. It should be a running pad from Xiaomi with model number MJPBJ01KST. It connects via Bluetooth 4.2 and should be foldable.
It’s expected that you’ll be able to connect using Bluetooth technology directly to your phone. The workout data should be synced there, and it could also serve as a controller—for example, to adjust speed or incline levels.
