The company Xiaomi is set to hold its next press conference in just a few days, specifically on September 24 / září 2019 in Beijing, China. The manufacturer shared the information directly on its official Twitter account.
New 5G smartphones, MIUI 11 and Mi TV
Under the slogan “Explore a future without limits”, the Chinese manufacturer wants to bring several of its latest updates right away. New 5G smartphones will also be in the lineup, namely an upgraded flagship model Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and a new device under the name Xiaomi Mi MIX 5G.
The original name Mi MIX 4, which should follow in the series, probably won’t be kept.
The upgraded flagship Mi 9 Pro 5G will also offer the fastest wireless charging in the world, with power up to 30 W. In addition, the second Mi MIX 5G model should also feature the same technology.
Xiaomi isn’t taking the new 5G era lightly, and concepts for new devices should become reality in the coming days.
Both new releases will also include the latest overlay MIUI 11, with an updated design including new icons and new features for improved voice control. The press conference bonus will be a new, premium Mi TV.
We don’t know much about the new TV yet, but it should be a well-equipped 8K model that should be positioned as a direct competitor to the upcoming premium television from OnePlus.
