The popular Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has officially introduced its new generation of robot vacuum cleaners under the name Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 3. It features suction power up to 4000 Pa, as well as a vibrating mop.
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 3: Suction power up to 4000 Pa and a vibrating mop
In terms of design, Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 3 continues the legacy of its predecessors. Again, there’s a rounded design in a matte white finish. The top part houses the LDS sensor, while the bottom is home to a rotating and corner brush.
The integrated electric motor delivers suction power up to 4000 Pa. There’s a dustbin with a 450 ml capacity, along with intelligent connectivity via the well-known mobile app Xiaomi Home.
This app lets you scan the area, create maps, set up virtual walls, plan cleaning schedules, and also do zone cleaning—or define no-go zones. In addition, voice control is available using Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. In the Chinese version, of course, through the assistant XiaoAI.
Google Assistant support, mobile app, and up to 3200 mAh battery
The manufacturer claims cleaning efficiency of up to 99,99% dirt and bacteria present in the cleaning areas—even though it doesn’t include UV light cleaning, which you can find in more expensive robot vacuum models.
A big advantage is also the integrated vibrating mop, with a maximum speed of up to 1200 vibrations per minute. The mop is also replaceable, so you can easily wash it, rinse it, or switch it for a second piece. The integrated battery has a capacity of 3200 mAh.
