Xiaomi is finally bringing the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC with contactless payments to the global market too

At the turn of May and June last year, Xiaomi unveiled to the world the already seventh generation of the popular smart band called Xiaomi Smart Band 7. It, just like its predecessors, achieved great success, but it had one rather big drawback.

Even the seventh generation launched on the market without the option to make contactless payments via an NFC chip, which disappointed many fans of the brand. The Chinese giant, however, hasn’t left anything to chance, because right now it’s bringing to our market Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC.

Contactless payments with the Xiaomi Band are a reality

Almost a year after the NFC version was introduced in the domestic market, the Smart Band 7 with NFC is now coming to the global one as well. Essentially, it’s the same smart band as the base Smart Band 7, but the new model is enhanced with the ability to pay contactlessly and support for Amazon Alexa.

Thanks to the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 NFC, users in Slovakia will finally also have the option to pay with a high-quality and affordable smart tracker contactlessly. Support applies to MasterCard cards (Prima banka and mBank) and VISA (SLSP). Detailed information about bank support in different countries can be found on the official website.

A well-known feature set

From now on, you’ll also be able to control the smart voice assistant Amazon Alexa directly through the watch, since a microphone has been added to the equipment. With these improvements, for a price of around 60 €, it becomes a fully featured smart band with everything you need.

In the watch’s feature set, you’ll find a 1.62″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels and brightness up to 500 nits, a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, sleep tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, water resistance up to 5 ATM, 110 different sports and much more.
