Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro: A stylish smart bracelet with a 1.74″ AMOLED and HyperOS 2 system

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro smart bracelet features a rounded design made of an aluminum alloy. Compared to its predecessors, the design is slightly updated, especially when it comes to the thin bezels around the display. As a result, the manufacturer achieved dimensions of just 43.3 x 32.5 x 10.8 mm, with a weight of 40.4 grams. It also includes a silicone, interchangeable strap for a wrist circumference of 13.5 – 20.5 cm.

On the front you’ll find a large up to 1.74″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 336 x 480 pixels. It reaches a maximum brightness of up to 1200 nits, which you’ll appreciate outdoors, along with a wide range of digital watch faces that you can customize in the Mi Fitness mobile app.

Multi-GNSS chip, 5 ATM certification, and battery life up to 21 days

Another advantage is the improved heart-rate measurement chip, which should deliver up to 98% accuracy compared to professional devices. You’ll also like monitoring up to 150 sports activities, sleep, stress, and even the menstrual cycle, with all results grouped together by a single-band multi-GNSS chip. It also includes GPS and Bluetooth for smartphone connectivity.

The bracelet’s construction offers enhanced resistance to water and dust, even with 5 ATM certification. The new HyperOS 2 operating system provides better optimization and more efficient battery usage. Proof of that is the resulting battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge. Compared to the previous generation, it’s improved by a full week.

The capacity of the integrated battery is 350 mAh. What’s currently missing in the global version is an NFC chip. So you won’t be able to pay in-store with this smart bracelet. And we don’t yet have any additional information about the possible arrival of an NFC version in the future.
