The company Xiaomi introduces an upgraded generation of its umbrella with LED lighting. The Xiaomi Urevo model is now even better too. A big advantage is also the low retail price of this product, so you’ll be able to afford buying several pieces of this practical gadget at once.
Xiaomi Urevo: A new and improved umbrella with LED lighting
The Chinese manufacturer announced a new smart umbrella not long ago, and specifically through its own crowdfunding platform. Today we’ll take a look at a similar, but somewhat simplified, umbrella model with integrated LED lighting.
Opening the umbrella itself takes literally just one second, thanks to a practical integrated mechanism that you can activate with a single press of a button on the handle. The handle also includes the key feature of this model. Here, you’ll find integrated LED lighting that can, for example, light up the path for you.
The umbrella was developed in cooperation with the partner brand Urevo, and with this model Xiaomi directly builds on the previous version. Even in this case, it’s an umbrella made from quality materials, and its use is suitable not only against rain, but also against the sun’s glare (the fabric blocks up to 99% of UV rays).
As for this lighting, it’s a module made up of three high-brightness LED diodes. The diodes can illuminate a distance of up to 10 meters, and the new feature compared to the previous version is also the ability to change the lighting angle.
Price and availability of the product
The new, affordable umbrella Xiaomi Urevo was officially unveiled on the Xiaomi YouPin platform for just 69 Chinese yuan. At the current conversion, that’s 8,98 €/ 10,66 USD. Since the predecessor of this model also appeared on markets outside China, we expect that the new model will eventually be officially available as well, for example in Europe, through the official distributor network.
As of today, however, official availability is only for mainland China. We expect availability from international sellers or on the marketplace Aliexpress.com in the coming weeks.
