This new gadget that appeared on the Xiaomi Youpin platform is, again, from the smart product lineup. It’s a compact dishwasher, though it can still wash a decent number of plates and cutlery.
A small helper for the home
The Xiaomi company has been, for some time now, entering various collaborations with companies from different fields—many of them truly interesting. This time, on the Xiaomi Youpin platform, a product appeared in collaboration with Viomi. The result of this partnership is a small and compact dishwasher.
As already mentioned, the big advantage is its compact size. It measures 443 x 467 x 441 mm, while the weight comes in at 14 kg. So it’s similar in size to a microwave oven. Besides saving a lot of space at home, it also offers a fairly decent internal capacity.
UV sterilization and smart functions
The manufacturer states that the dishwasher itself is ideal even for larger families or groups of people consisting of 4 – 6 people. The interior space fits not only cutlery, but also plates, mugs, bowls, cups, etc. The new and improved 6D washing system combines hot air with high water pressure.
Together with the built-in UV light, the device can destroy up to 99,99 % of bacteria while washing. But great features don’t stop there. There’s also air circulation after washing, which is used for complete drying. That means you can put the washed dishes back into the cabinet right away.
To top it off, it also includes support for the Xiaomi Mi Home app. You can therefore pair the dishwasher wirelessly via a WiFi network with your smartphone and control it remotely. For such a small device, that’s truly a great set of features.
Price and availability
On the Chinese market, the Xiaomi dishwasher in collaboration with Viomi is priced at 999 Chinese yuan, which is about 150 USD / 128 EUR. At the moment, the product is sold only through the Xiaomi Youpin platform, but soon we should see it available from international sellers as well.
