Xiaomi Watch Color are the most beautiful smartwatches from the brand. They’ve made their way to a European warehouse with a discount

At the very start of 2020, Xiaomi introduced new smartwatches Xiaomi Watch Color, which immediately after the announcement won over many fans.

The watches finally got the English language, so they’re usable even outside China. We know where you can buy them for the best price.

Get them for an awesome price

The Xiaomi Watch Color smartwatches are now on sale on the well-known shopping portal AliExpress. They’re offered by a verified seller named Mi CC Store, who now also has them available in the Polish warehouse with express delivery in 3–7 days.

Update with English language

In the seller’s description on AliExpress, it states that the watches can be updated to the latest system with support for the English language.

Before you buy, though, you should know that the watches currently work only with Android phones and iOS isn’t supported yet.

Just download the Xiaomi Wear app and search for the latest updates. After installation, the English language will also appear in the watch menu.

A beautiful round design

One of the biggest draws of these watches is their design. A round 1.39″ AMOLED display is framed by a stainless-steel bezel, available in two color versions – silver and matte black. The dial diameter is 46.2 mm, but later a version with a smaller 42 mm dial should also hit the market.

The watches come with a silicone strap, and the standard package includes either a black or a dark blue strap. Xiaomi, however, will offer a wide range of strap colors with the watch. They say you can choose from up to 1540 color combinations.

And that’s not all—users also have access to 110 watch face designs, which you can select via the smartphone app. The design options for these watches are therefore truly extensive.

AMOLED display and excellent battery life

As we mentioned at the beginning, Xiaomi Watch Color come with an AMOLED display with a 1.39″ diagonal and a very fine resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The total dimensions of the watch body without the strap are 46.2 × 53.3 × 11.4 mm.

The hardware includes a modern Bluetooth 5.0 for pairing with your smartphone, GPS with Glonass, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, an accelerometer, and a barometer. Chinese users can also enjoy NFC for contactless payments. There’s no WiFi in these watches.

As for payment support outside China, there’s no information yet. We’ll have to wait for the global watch version to be released.

Regarding battery life, Xiaomi Watch Color have a 420 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, that’s enough for 14 days of normal use or 22 days with light use. With always-on GPS monitoring enabled, the battery life is 22 hours.

10 sports modes plus VO2 Max

Xiaomi Watch Color are definitely geared toward sports. They can track 10 different sports activities, including running, rock climbing, cycling, elliptical training, walking, free training, and swimming. The watches are equipped with 5ATM water resistance, so they can handle showers, rain, and even swimming.

Of course, there is heart rate monitoring, and the watch can also calculate VO2 Max based on your workouts, i.e. your aerobic performance. They also use the Firstbeat algorithm, which is a globally recognized heart rate measurement technology.

Your heart rate can be measured continuously for 24 hours, and the watches also monitor your sleep and your body’s energy. They can even detect blood pressure and include a breathing training feature. When the watches detect excessive stress, they prompt you to relax with calm breathing. Notification support from your smartphone is also included as standard.

Smart voice assistant

Xiaomi Watch Color include the intelligent XiaoAI voice assistant, but unfortunately it’s only intended for China and doesn’t support other languages. The watches support voice input because they have a microphone, but they don’t have a speaker for voice output. That means you can’t make phone calls through them.

The watch system isn’t specified in more detail, but it’s likely the same system as the one used in, for example, Amazfit GTR watches. That means a closed system with no option to install third-party apps.
