Many family houses, buildings, workplaces, or other spaces have hidden architectural corners where even the signal of our WiFi network doesn’t reach.
Luckily, there are devices on the market called repeaters that help us extend the original wireless internet network to places our router can’t reach.
One of many is also the Xiaomi WiFi Amplifier 2, which has all the benefits of a repeater, but the price of a cheap USB stick.

Simplicity and elegance
Xiaomi WiFi Amplifier 2 is simple and elegant. It measures 120 x 30 x 5 mm and weighs only 35 g. It’s a global version with English language in the menu. Available in white color.
The repeater has a USB 2.0, interface through which it connects to power. Thanks to that, its power consumption requirements are low. If you don’t have a USB socket at home, you can use any power adapter or even a power bank. The USB port is placed in a rotating joint with the ability to swivel in a range of 180°.
Built-in dual antennas in the Xiaomi WiFi Amplifier 2 achieve transfer speeds up to 300 Mbps, which is up to twice as much compared to the predecessor. Complete setup and control via the Mi Home app is also available.
Pairing works on the simple Plug and Play principle, for example by plugging the repeater into the USB connector on the router. At the same time, it can connect up to 16 different external devices.
