Xiaovv V380 Q11 is an intelligent home camera featuring a 5 MPx sensor, 2K video resolution, a wide-angle view with night vision, and other useful features. It also belongs to the Xiaomi ecosystem, where the camera lineup keeps growing.
Great price for the specs
You can order the camera now from the seller Banggood. Since it’s a new product, it will be shipped by 26 October. It’s definitely worth waiting, though. Don’t forget to choose EU Priority Line shipping so you won’t have to pay any additional fees upon delivery.
High resolution, clear image
The manufacturer promises ultra-clear image quality thanks to the 2K resolution (2560 x 1920 px). We have to admit that most IP cameras in this price range have a lower resolution. Most often, we encounter FullHD resolution and the use of 2 – 3 MPx sensors. Based on the specs, this should really be a significant improvement in image quality.
The camera offers so-called panoramic viewing. The manufacturer states a horizontal field of view of up to 360°, and a vertical field of view at the 90° level. With these viewing angles, you can easily cover the entire room you want to monitor with the camera. Plus, thanks to its rotating design, you really won’t miss anything. The camera can rotate horizontally by 355° and vertically by 65°.
Connectivity, dimensions, and smart features
Xiaovv V380 Q11 is a very compact camera—its dimensions are only 114.5 x 81.9 mm (height x width).
As for connectivity, you’ll find support for 2.4 GHz WiFi, or an RJ-45 port for wired connection using an Ethernet cable. Power is handled by the microUSB port on the back of the camera. The microSD card slot is hidden in the rotating head of the camera.
The camera can be connected to the V380Pro app. Pairing with the app is very easy and takes very little time. The night mode promises automatic switching between color and the classic black-and-white mode. It uses advanced 3D noise reduction technology. You’ll also get two-way audio transmission.
A very interesting feature is smart person detection, which should help eliminate false alerts. Thanks to AI, the camera should be able to tell whether motion in front of the camera is caused by a person or by an animal, insects, or any other object.
When detecting motion, the Xiaovv V380 Q11 will of course send a notification to your smartphone. Videos can be stored in the cloud, where there’s space for 24-hour recording, or on a microSD card as a backup in the cloud.
The package also includes a wall mount, and you can install it upside down as well—on the ceiling.
