Elegant and practical

Besides its very elegant design, Xiaomi’s night lamp also features a practical shape and dimensions. The lamp comes in matte white. Its dimensions are just 29.3 x 16.4 cm. Even the design earned the product an iF Design Award 2020.

The lamp includes a wireless charger designed for smartphones, or other devices that support Qi wireless charging. With this lamp, it’s an especially practical solution since the charger is built into the main base.

The charger power is 14 W, so it’s standard charging. The wireless charger is included only in the Pro version of the lamp marked YLCT03YL.

As for the color temperature, you can set it within 2 700 – 6 500 K. Up to a 30-step brightness angle ensures comfortable reading, or simple lighting of the selected area.

There’s also touch control with several modes. Even though there’s only one button on the lamp, it supports touch gestures. A short press turns the lamp on or off. With a long press, you can adjust the color temperature and also the brightness.

Inside the lamp, you’ll also find built-in wireless connectivity in the form of Wi-Fi, working at a 2.4 GHz frequency. Thanks to it, you can easily connect the lamp to your smartphone and control it remotely using the Mi Home or Yeelight app.

The lamp is probably the Chinese version, so in the apps it will only work within the China Mainland region, i.e., on the Chinese server. There’s also voice control and support for Apple HomeKit.
