Huami, a brand known for its Amazfit smartwatches and also behind the Mi Band bracelets, is working on new premium smartwatches. Only recently, the Zepp E model was introduced—this new one will be called Zepp Z.
Zepp Z have already received certification
New smartwatches from Xiaomi’s business partner have already received certification. It looks like the company plans to introduce several interesting products in the future, and Zepp Z is just the second one in the new product lineup.
It should mainly be about a line of smartwatches that will focus on quality. The manufacturer obtained certification for model A1934, and it’s specifically the Zepp Z smartwatch model. But these watches definitely won’t be the last—there’s more interesting gear to look forward to.
The specs aren’t known yet—we’ll have to wait
But we’ll still have to wait a little for the specs. Right now, we practically don’t know anything. We expect that in the coming days, new certifications will appear, gradually revealing the individual specifications.
We can already say for sure that the watches will target the premium category. So we expect a very strong feature set, a high-quality display, but above all excellent build quality using more expensive, high-quality materials. It should be something like Amazfit’s flagship.
An upgraded Zepp E model?
In August this year, the smartwatch manufacturer introduced the Zepp E. They hit the market with an elegant and stylish design, a 1.28″ AMOLED display, and the ability to track multiple types of workouts.
Zepp Z will probably be a bit more expensive and more feature-packed smartwatches. In addition to the above functions, advanced AI-based workout tracking tools and continuous heart-rate monitoring shouldn’t be missing.
The price and the Zepp Z launch date are still up in the air
It shouldn’t be missing an app for both Android and iOS. We’re not confident enough to guess the launch date yet. Since the certification process is already done, it could happen still this year. The expected price isn’t known yet either.
