Chinese version at fantastic prices
Our partner seller TradingShenzhen is now offering the latest Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone, which is currently available in the Chinese version and will probably stay that way. Rumors are spreading online that we won’t be seeing a global version.
The downside of this version is the lack of the B20 LTE band in the supported frequencies, which in Slovakia and the Czech Republic means you won’t be able to connect to the 4G LTE network outside the city. In the city, the signal will work without any issues; outside the city, on the 2G / 3G networks. The 5G network also works without problems on this version.
The phone also comes with the Chinese version of the HyperOS overlay, which in the base setup offers only Chinese and English. The seller, though, will install complete Google services in the phone, and they work. From the Chinese warehouse, you can also pay extra for the installation of the local translated Xiaomi.EU ROM, which solves the language issue.

Xiaomi 14 Pro: Here are the technical specifications
Xiaomi 14 Pro is a bigger and more substantial device compared to the base model. Still, it keeps a slightly curved display, rounded edges, and very thin bezels around the screen—smaller than on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. This year, the side bezels are just 1.8 mm, with 2.08 mm along the bottom edge.
Pro reinforces its position in the lineup with display technology. It offers an adaptive and up to 6,73″ LTPO OLED display with a fine 2K resolution and a dynamic refresh rate from 1 – 120 Hz. The resulting display sharpness is 522 ppi. You also get TÜV certification, DC dimming (1920 Hz PWM), a maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits, plus Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDR Vivid support.
Here too, you can count on the latest flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It brings a total of eight cores in a new 1 + 5 + 2 configuration, as well as a new ultra-high-performance Cortex-X4 core running up to 3.3 GHz. In the configuration options, you’ll get up to 16 GB of RAM and fast internal storage in 256 / 512 / 1 TB.
Leica Summilux lenses and the new HyperOS operating system
Information leaks are also becoming reality when it comes to the camera setup. Xiaomi brings new Leica Summilux lenses that are different from last year’s flagship.
The main sensor has a size of 1/1.31″, a resolution of 50 MPx / 23 mm, a professional 7P lens architecture, and also a variable focal length ranging from f/1.42 to f/4.0. This sensor is equipped with the new Summilux technology, which boosts light sensitivity by up to 180%. In real life, that means even better-processed HDR photos.
It’s been upgraded with a 50 MPx / 14 mm ultra-wide-angle camera (115°, f/2.2) and a 50 MPx telephoto lens with a focal length of 75 mm, OIS, 3,2x optical zoom, and an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera is housed in a cutout in the center of the screen.
This smartphone also includes the new operating system HyperOS, built from four layers right away. One of them is a Linux-based kernel similar to Android, and there’s also the MIUI graphical interface layer, the Vela OS layer, and the Mina OS security layer—meaning proprietary, separate system elements designed by Xiaomi.
There’s also a HyperConnect layer to link other products from the ecosystem. And an intelligent assistant Xiaomi HyperMind (Beta) will help you with controlling your smart home using AI. The manufacturer also said that despite the system’s complexity, its overall size is relatively small compared to the competition. On the Xiaomi 14 Pro, it takes just 8.75 GB.
The built-in battery has a capacity of up to 4880 mAh. It supports ultra-fast 120 W wired charging and fast wireless charging with a power of 50 W.
Price and availability of the new Xiaomi smartphone
So far, the manufacturer has only unveiled the Chinese version of the flagship device, Xiaomi 14 Pro. It will go on sale on the Chinese market starting today through selected local partners, in four color options – Black, White, Pink, and also the new Rock Green color, which matches the aluminum frame.
For the Pro version, you’ll also find one special edition with a titanium body, front and back crystal glass, and finished in a black-orange combination.
These are the official retail prices for the different memory configurations:
- 12 + 256 GB for just 4999 yuan (approx. 647 €)
- 16 + 512 GB for just 5499 yuan (approx. 712 €)
- 16 + 1 TB for just 5999 yuan (approx. 776 €)
- Special Titanium Edition 16 + 1 TB for just 6499 yuan (approx. 841 €)
At the moment, we don’t have any further information about its global availability or an alternative version. However, we expect this smartphone to arrive in Europe as well—after a few weeks to a month. For now, you’ll have to make do with the offer from verified international sellers.
