HyperOS 2 will, among other handy features, also focus on implementing elements of artificial intelligence. It will roll out its own platform called HyperAI into selected models, integrated directly into the user interface. Here are the exact features HyperAI will offer.
We’ve already covered the AI features available in HyperOS in our previous article, but now Xiaomi is expanding them even further.
HyperAI will be part of HyperOS 2 on some models
HyperOS 2 will introduce three major technologies – HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI. They will be deeply integrated so they work with the company’s own Xiaomi Super XiaoAI virtual assistant, which is smarter and more capable than ever before.
One of the first interesting features that uses AI elements is AI Interpreter. It enables real-time translation and is therefore an ideal tool for travelers, teams with multiple nationalities, and generally for users looking for ways to overcome the language barrier.
Spoken language can be translated into text with automatic language detection. Phone calls won’t be a problem either, as they can be translated in real time.
You probably already know the Circle to Search feature. It’s a tool from Google that lets you circle objects on the screen and automatically search for them. It’s something like the old good Google Lens, but even more advanced. Some Xiaomi competitors have it too.
AI Captions, as the name suggests, can automatically generate subtitles for the multimedia content you’re watching, and it even supports real-time translation. It’s also perfect if you often attend online meetings, conferences, or watch live broadcasts that don’t have subtitles generated by the web.
Spoken speaker identification is a tool for recorded calls or meetings. It automatically identifies multiple participants in the call and transcribes their speech into text, while letting you know who was speaking at that moment.
AI Summary lets you turn long audio recordings into shorter text notes that you can further edit to quickly get your bearings on the recorded topic that was discussed.
AI Outline turns your notes—maybe not so nicely organized—into a well-formatted, easy-to-read text. This tool will be especially appreciated by students and other professionals who rely on their notes app during work.
AI Proofreading automatically corrects typos and grammar mistakes in your text with just one click.
AI Image Upscaling and AI Erase Pro are then tools for expanding images and removing unwanted objects from photos. The results are said to look very natural.
AI Film brings static images to life and enables you to create live wallpapers and short, engaging videos.
