At the beginning of February, Xiaomi unveiled its two flagship models for this year. These are the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, but their global versions are still nowhere to be seen, or not?
Xiaomi has obvious supply issues with the Mi 10
Exceptional smartphones with the best hardware of today are facing supply problems. Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, however, had a strong start, when they topped the charts on platforms AnTuTu and DxOMark.
Great results were also achieved after they arrived on the Chinese market, where the Mi 10 sold out in one minute and the Pro model in just 55 seconds. Since then, this year’s flagship models have only been dealing with problems. First came the coronavirus, which significantly affected smartphone deliveries in China.
Later, again due to the virus, the exhibition trade fair for mobile technologies MWC 2020 was cancelled, where Xiaomi was planning to launch the global versions of the Mi 10. Since February 13, 2020, we have no official information on when the Mi 10 will be released on the European market.
A tweet from Xiaomi Germany sparks hope
Through its official German Twitter account, Xiaomi is teasing fans with a statement that they should look forward to big discounts. The profile Xiaomi Deutschland specifically states that next month it is preparing significant discounts in the flagship category.

The status does not specify which smartphone models will get discounts. However, at the beginning of the sales of a major new release, Xiaomi usually offers first buyers significant discounts on devices. These statements therefore create the impression that we might finally get Mi 10 in April on our market.
The presentations of the global Mi 10 versions could happen a bit earlier. After all, smartphone sales only begin after some time from the official unveiling. However, we have to remind you that the coronavirus is already wreaking havoc in several European countries and significantly affecting the entire economy as well as the supply of goods.
