The company Xiaomi unveiled its new flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 yesterday, together with an upgraded and more expensive Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. version. However, the first success of these smartphones has already started—specifically, the first shipments were sold out in just one minute after sales went live.
First deliveries sold out in just one minute
In just one minute—after the official launch on the domestic Chinese market—Xiaomi informed that all available device deliveries had been exhausted. Even the manufacturer itself commented on this undoubtedly major success, reporting sales at the level of 200 million yuan, i.e. approximately €26 million respectively 650 million CZK.
In addition, Xiaomi stated that these initial shipments launched on the market were not only sold out in its own official Mi Store or Xiaomi Mall, but also at other well-known retail chains in China, such as Tmall or JD.com.
For the new flagship devices Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the manufacturer decided— for the very first time— to remove the price cap to achieve even higher quality in the final device.
Latest technologies were given room, and the smartphones include, for example, an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a fast O-Infinity with a front camera, UFS 3.0 storage, or even very fast charging, which on the “Pro” model reaches up to 50W.
We’re curious when the smartphone will reach Europe. The official presentation date during the MWC 2020 in Barcelona, Spain was canceled. We don’t know the replacement date for the official launch or the device price here in our region yet through official distribution. Follow Xiaomi Planet and you’ll learn more.
