This is the LineHope H8 model, available in multiple configurations (1/2/3/4-button), in an elegant white or black finish. With Bluetooth Mesh 2.0, a minimalist design, and a touch display, this switch is truly a tech gem for any smart home.
Minimalist design and premium build quality
The LineHope H8 is built on an elegant, modern design. At first glance, it impresses with the LCD display, which becomes not just a visual element, but also the functional center of your control. The switch features a matte finish with a textured frame that looks luxurious while also being resistant to fingerprints. The entire panel has chamfered edges for the “floating design” effect on the wall, and the surface is scratch-resistant.
There are versions with 1, 2, 3, or 4 buttons, and the switches are designed for installation in a square electrical back box (China only). Thanks to the mounting frame, they can be easily integrated into multi-switch combinations. Besides the classic white option, there’s also a luxurious black version for darker interiors.

The LineHope H8 switch is based on Bluetooth Mesh 2.0, which ensures stable communication and expandability across a network of additional devices. The display lets you change scenes, set timers, or switch lighting modes depending on the time of day. The system remembers the last lighting state and also supports integration with a motion sensor.

The LineHope H8 switch is fully compatible with the Xiaomi Home ecosystem. After pairing with a gateway and other smart devices, it can create automated scenes that simplify your everyday life. The switch responds to connected sensors, curtain motors, air conditioning, and smart locks—everything within one system.
The “Homecoming” mode activates when you arrive home—for example, when your smart lock is unlocked. The lights turn on automatically, the air conditioner starts, and the whole space welcomes you with a comfortable atmosphere. That way, your return is always pleasant—without unnecessary steps.
Sleep mode: full automation for the evening
Smart settings also take care of your evening rituals. The Sleep mode lets you turn off all lights, close the curtains, and automatically adjust the temperature using your air conditioner or an air humidifier. Everything happens automatically—the switch works with sensors and other devices in your smart home. This lets you create ideal conditions for healthy sleep without disruptive factors.
More control options than you think
LineHope H8 supports voice control via the XiaoAi assistant, as well as precisely scheduled on/off timing and remote control through the app. You set everything in the Xiaomi Home app, where you can choose the exact time when the lights should turn on or off—or do it with one click, even from your vacation.
Another super practical feature is automatic shutoff during a power outage. The switch remembers the last state after power is restored—either it stays off or turns back on. No more manual setup after the power comes back!
High durability, safety, and build for years to come
Safety is crucial for smart switches, and the manufacturer definitely thought about it. LineHope H8 has a fire-resistant PC body with V0 certification, which can withstand high temperatures. The device is equipped with multiple protections—protection against overload, overheating, and protection when passing through the zero-crossing point. In case of any issues, it automatically disconnects the power and protects the entire household electrical circuit.
The internal components are housed in a metal frame, which improves the overall durability and stability of the device. A large terminal block with high-quality screws is also a given, ensuring safe wiring even after years of use.
In case of a power outage, it can work like a clock
The LineHope H8 display has an energy-saving mode with clock display. If the network goes down, the display will stay on and show the current time. That’s why it also works as a design accessory that looks great on your wall even in sleep mode.
A huge advantage is that LineHope H8 does not require a neutral wire (N) for installation. That means you can install it even in older wiring setups where there’s often only a phase (L). Thanks to the built-in capacitor and modern chip, however, it can still reliably control the current without flickering or noise—something that’s common with cheaper smart switches.
Availability and price
On the domestic Chinese market, the prices of these switches are very favorable. The LineHope H8 model—the standard smart switch without a display—starts at 89 Chinese yuan, which is about 11€.
The premium LineHope E8 model with an LCD screen is significantly more expensive—the price starts from 179 yuan, about 22€. Prices also vary depending on the number of buttons (single, double, triple, or quadruple switch) and available colors (white / gray).
We wouldn’t expect it on the global market, but it could show up in Chinese sellers’ listings or on the AliExpress marketplace soon.
