The launch of the Redmi K50 series is apparently just around the corner. More and more leaks are starting to appear—whether about design or prices. The revealed back cover confirms the design that was leaked earlier.
We have a new render
Thanks to a user, Equal Leaks via their profile on Telegram, we could see a created render of what a Redmi K50 smartphone might look like. Specifically, in an orange and blue-green color combination.
This design is very specific, and something like it is something we haven’t seen yet with Redmi or Xiaomi smartphones. That’s good news, though—Redmi K50 series phones will be easily recognizable.
So, the back will be home to three camera sensors arranged in the shape of a triangle. Around them, there will be a glossy area with notched circular patterns, creating interesting reflections.
Below, you can also notice text indicating that the main camera will have a resolution of 108 Mpx, and there’s also a long LED flash. That’s also a less common feature in today’s smartphones. The back will likely be made of plastic with a special grooved surface finish. We think the phone will be less likely to slip out of your hand thanks to it.
An interesting detail is that even though we basically already have confirmation that all the phones in this series will feature an AMOLED display, Redmi for some reason keeps the fingerprint sensor in the power button.
Again, leaked protective cases
Gizmochina Gimochina also shared photos showing the back protective case for the Redmi K50. It matches the renders and the previously leaked protective covers.
Recently, we informed you that prices for all four smartphones in the Redmi K50 series, along with the chipsets used, have leaked. Prices will be higher than last year, but it’s still a great-equipped mid-range segment.
We’re only waiting now for the moment when Redmi finally reveals the official conference date. All four new devices will, for now, be available only for the domestic Chinese market.
What do you think of this back design and the camera module? Is it something that would convince you to buy one of the Redmi K50 smartphones? Let us know in the comments below the article.
