Up to three Redmi K50 devices have passed certification. Their unveiling is just around the corner, and we know the key specs

For the upcoming Redmi K50 series smartphones, we already have quite a lot of information. The fact that three models from this series have also passed TEENA certification hints at an imminent presentation, revealing some important parameters.

Up to three smartphones

Well-known leaker Digital Chat Station confirmed that three upcoming Redmi K50 series smartphones have indeed passed TEENA certification and also shared a photo showing that the phones have model numbers 22021211RC, 22041211AC and 22011211C. The final letter C suggests these new releases are meant for the Chinese domestic market.

But it’s not out of the question that they may show up later on the global market too, possibly under the POCO brand. An example should be the soon-to-be-introduced POCO X4 Pro 5G, which will be almost identical to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G model.

Performance is no issue

Certified Redmi K50 smartphones include three types of processors. MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and MediaTek Dimensity 8000. These processors are still very high-quality, so there will definitely be no shortage of performance.

There was also talk about a flagship model that should come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but this information hasn’t been confirmed yet. These details are just leaks that Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed, but also hasn’t denied.

It’s still possible that we’ll get this flagship model. Besides the most powerful processor, it should also be equipped with a 2K AMOLED display. We’d like a Redmi flagship smartphone like that, too.

The launch is truly close, and we could see it already this month. The presentation will take place in China, and we’re just waiting for when Redmi officially reveals the conference date. Be sure to follow our website so you don’t miss any information about these new releases.
