The operating system Android 11 should bring a lot of positive changes and new features. Even though the exact presentation date hasn’t been revealed yet, some functions and updates haven’t stayed under wraps.
5G support
The new generation of Android will focus on keeping up with today’s technological progress.
The main one is the introduction of 5G chips, which will also need support from the software side. Google, of course, isn’t falling behind.
An 5G API will be implemented in Android, allowing the system to recognize the presence of 5G connectivity and therefore offer overall better performance. During the 5G rollout boom, this is definitely a welcome feature.
You’ll also get a better synergy of the operating system with all kinds of cutouts, punch-holes, or sliding cameras. The term “better synergy” includes, for example, fewer errors when rendering the background color or incorrectly displaying apps. Once again, it’s a great improvement.
Other updates won’t miss more intuitive and clearer notifications, or easier ways to set and manage permissions for individual apps.
For example, if you deny a certain permission, the system will treat this decision as permanent and won’t ask you about it again. Of course, in settings you can still freely adjust all permissions.
Screen recording will also be improved, as well as the developer interface Neural Networks API. That’s all we have for now from the available news, but today’s article isn’t over yet.
