With the upcoming introduction of new flagships from the Redmi K50 family, interesting leaks of specifications are slowly but surely making their way online. The device lineup is still fairly unknown, but some details have already surfaced thanks to active leaksters.

According to the latest information, the entire series labeled K50 will consist of four smartphones. We can look forward to a base model, a model labeled “Pro”, a slightly upgraded “Pro +”, and finally, for the biggest enthusiasts, there will also be the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.

Four models, four processors

One of the hot updates related to the K50 line is the variety of processors used. All in all, 4 smartphones are expected to hit the market, with each one hiding a different chipset under the hood. Let’s go through it step by step.

Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station recently shared that two smartphones will feature a processor from American Qualcomm, while the other two will be equipped with processors from MediaTek.

In the case of the Qualcomm chips, they will be the Snapdragon 870 and the most premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. MediaTek will be represented by flagship chipsets Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000.

The predecessor: Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.

Assuming these leaks really turn into reality, none of the smartphones in the new series will be lacking in performance—in fact, quite the opposite. You’ll have more than enough power.

Apparently, this gaming beast will come with a 6.67″ AMOLED 2K 120 Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a high-quality cooling system, a 4700 mAh battery with ultra-fast 120 W charging, three rear cameras in a 64 + 13 + 2 MPx configuration, and the latest custom skin MIUI 13.

Another interesting update is also a new redesigned vibration system called Cyber Engine. On the official Redmi Weibo profile, product posters appeared that reveal the most powerful vibration system yet seen in smartphones. So the great gaming experience will be even more intense.
