At the turn of the year, people usually take stock and plan the future. In this article, though, we won’t be doing too much of either. We’d just like to take a trip down memory lane at the best Xiaomi products that were unveiled in the outgoing year 2019.

Since our favorite brand has a pretty wide reach, it definitely won’t be only about smartphones. Let’s look at the best products across the best-selling parts of the lineup.

Ladies and gentlemen, here are the best Xiaomi brand products for 2019, according to Xiaomi Planet:

Best smartphone: Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G

Choosing the best smartphone from so many great options isn’t easy at all. In the end, the winner here was the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G, thanks to the perfect combination of all the specs that make it an exceptional—and truly top—smartphone.

First and foremost, it’s about support for 5G mobile networks that are only slowly starting to roll out here, while in other parts of the world the technology is already well established. With the Mi 9 Pro, this tech pairs nicely with above-average performance.

The phone got the most powerful processor of its time – the Snapdragon 855 Plus, which in the base version is paired with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage, and in the more expensive version even up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage.

If we add to this 40 W wired fast charging, 30 W wireless charging, and 10 W reverse charging, you simply get the best that Xiaomi launched in 2019.

Of course, it’s not only about 5G, performance, and charging. In year 2019, the brand released many top-tier smartphones that stood out for one thing or another. But it’s the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G that takes all the best hardware and brings it together in a single model.

Best budget-friendly smartphone: Redmi K30 5G

Not even a month has passed since the launch of the Redmi K30 5G, and the phone brought several outstanding features that the manufacturer managed to fit into a fantastic price. Aside from support for 5G mobile networks, the biggest innovation is probably the display.

It offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, which is the very first time for a smartphone from the Xiaomi group.

What’s more, the Redmi K30 is the company’s first smartphone to come with two front cameras, placed in a display perforation—so, in a nutshell, “in the punch-out area.” The phone also includes another great feature: a side button with a fingerprint sensor, along with a new and powerful mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 765G.

It also features a combination of 4 cameras with a new 64 MPx sensor: Sony IMX 686 Exmor RS CMOS, plus a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging “30W Fast Flash Charge”.
