Black Shark 4 Pro was unveiled back in March 2021, but until now its global version hasn’t been properly available on the market. Only the standard Black Shark 4 was sold, and we also published a review of it.

The more powerful model is finally going on sale, and the international retailer has prepared great deal prices right in the European warehouse.

A serious price drop

You can get the gaming Black Shark 4 Pro via the Gshopper shopping portal, where the seller—under the name Xiaomi Global Official Store—offers it from a Chinese warehouse. Shipping is completely free and you won’t pay any extra additional fees upon delivery.

Continue with the Next button.
5. For payment, choose bank transfer and saveIn checkout, you pick from the available options Bank Transfer, Credit Card and PayPal. Choose bank transfer—GShopper gives you an additional discount that, depending on the product, is 3 to 4,5 % compared to card payment. You make the transfer in your bank; the account is held in EUR within the EU—so it’s a standard SEPA transfer.

Gaming device from year 2021 will provide enough power even in 2022

Even though Black Shark 4 Pro hit the market last year, its hardware specs are still impressive in 2022. The performance is handled by last year’s flagship processor Snapdragon 888. It’s backed by 8 / 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 6400 MHz and 128 / 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The improved storage technology boosts the storage read performance by 55%. Write speed has also increased by 69%. This significantly speeds up game installation.

You’ll enjoy games on the 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display from Samsung with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 px, supporting up to 144 Hz refresh rate and a 720 Hz sampling rate. Touch-response lag is just 8.3 ms. The display reaches up to 1300 nits of peak brightness, the contrast ratio is 5 000 000:1, and you also get HDR10+ technology.

The smartphone measures 163.83 x 76.35 x 9.9 mm and weighs 220 g. So it’s not a compact phone—but with a gaming smartphone, nobody expects that anyway.

Gaming magnetic buttons and 120 W charging

Its biggest gaming advantage is its built-in hardware magnetic buttons, which literally “pop out” from the chassis when activated.

Thanks to them, gaming on this smartphone will be even more convenient, and you won’t have to connect any external accessories. Of course, you can also program the buttons.

The manufacturer also thought about efficient cooling during gameplay, and the device boasts a refined liquid cooling system. It provides 30 % better heat dissipation and lowers the CPU core temperature by 18 degrees. You won’t have to deal with heat ruining your gaming sessions.

Power is handled by a 4500 mAh battery split into two 2250 mAh modules. The manufacturer did this because of the very fast 120 W charging, which can charge the battery to 100% in just 15 minutes. The benefit is that the 120 W adapter is included directly in the package.

Premium stereo audio and a 64 MPx camera

A major strength of the gaming Black Shark 4 Pro is also its stereo speakers. These are dual linear speakers with a large 1,5CC sound chamber, DTS Ultra X, and Hi-Res Audio certification.

Famous testers from DxOmark rated the sound of this smartphone as one of the best in the world. At the moment it is second in the world in the sound quality ranking, while in first place is its sibling Black Shark 4S Pro.

In terms of the camera setup, you get a 64-megapixel main sensor with a f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The front camera takes selfies in up to 20 MP resolution.

Since it’s a global version, full support for networks across Europe is a given, including the B20 LTE bands. You also get 5G, NFC, WiFi 6, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and the phone runs on the JOYUI 12.5 interface with gamer-focused customizations.
