Redmi is gearing up full force for the reveal of a truly great smartphone with the K60 Ultra label. More specs leaked again, led by 24 GB of RAM and an IP68 certification.
New information straight from Xiaomi
Just before its official launch, Xiaomi on the Chinese social network Weibo revealed its design through many posters, also unveiling some specifications.
As you can see, the Redmi K60 Ultra will be available in black and green. The side frames are made of aluminum, which will show in the overall rigidity of the build.
IP68 certification and RAM storage capacity
It was also revealed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will come with certification IP68, proving water- and dust-resistance at a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.
In terms of performance, it will be truly top-tier too—because a flagship processor from MediaTek is being lined up. It will be the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which scores 1.7 million points on AnTuTu.
The cherry on top is the report that the top version of this smartphone will include an unbelievable 24 GB of RAM, complemented by 1-terabyte storage—these are truly flagship-level specs.
A great OLED display
The display itself will have a resolution of 1.5K, somewhere between Full HD and QHD resolutions. The panel will be labeled Huaxing C7 OLED and can boast a maximum brightness of up to 2,600 nits, which, by the way, is the same as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has.
This flat OLED panel also boasts a high refresh rate, the kind we usually see mainly in gaming smartphones—up to 144 Hz.
On the global market as Xiaomi 13T Pro
As we already know, Redmi K60 Ultra will also be sold on the global market. Not under the Redmi label though—it will be handled by its parent company Xiaomi, and the model is 13T Pro. It’s expected to be unveiled in early September.
