When people choose names for their children, they usually draw inspiration from many sources, whether from movies, TV series, or they simply go with the “classic” and pick names like Peter, Marek, Martin, Ján … But that doesn’t apply to an Indonesian couple, Fredi Yana (27) and Delima (25). They named their daughter, who was born back in August 2017, Xiaomi!
The father of the little girl is reportedly a huge Xiaomi fan since 2016. Xiaomi’s global vice president – Wang Xiang – shared a picture of the child’s birth certificate on social media Twitter.
Many fans of this brand may not even know the correct pronunciation of the word „Xiaomi“, so it’s not sure whether parents will call their offspring correctly – however, as a show of loyalty to the brand, it’s a very specific step!
