Recently, the native apps of the MIUI interface have gone through quite significant design changes with the arrival of new interface generations. The system developers are trying to keep up with the times and modernize the look of their apps so that the user experience is as high-level as possible.
The clock app is getting a new modern interface
The native clock app on smartphones with the MIUI interface was only recently updated to the latest version on some devices: V13.25.0.
It brings several smaller design improvements, which ultimately create a nicer, more consistent and more minimalist interface.
In the screenshots above (dark mode – older version, light mode – new version), you can see a comparison between the current and new version of the Clocks app. The very first item, Alarms, has been enhanced with bolder text, which is actually very elegant.
In the section meant for tracking world time, we find a centered current time, while the names of individual places have again been replaced with bold text. On the remaining pages of the Clocks app, there are only fairly minor changes, similar to the ones listed above.

Releasing a new version of the Clocks app may indicate the upcoming arrival of a major generational or inter-generational MIUI update 13.5 or MIUI 14. However, these are all just unverified guesses—for their confirmation or denial, we’ll have to wait a while.
