During the days when the world is being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s recommended to protect yourself, avoid unnecessary exposure to infection risks, and keep track of your health. For that, a new Xiaomi digital ear thermometer can also help.
This smart assistant comes in cooperation with the popular brand Mijia, which has a lot of high-quality products in its portfolio. Since this is a Xiaomi-made device, there’s no way it wouldn’t come with a great price.
Minimalist and durable build
For its low price, the Xiaomi ear digital thermometer offers very good specs. The manufacturer also put care into even the smallest details, making it pleasant to use and suitable for everyone.
Already at first glance you could tell it’s a device from the Chinese giant. The minimalist white finish made from durable ABS plastic ensures long, comfortable, and trouble-free use.
Quick measuring, preheating, display
As we mentioned above, this thermometer can measure temperature in your ear in a few seconds. Besides truly fast measuring, this new model also offers a preheating function for the measuring tip, so measuring even for the smallest ones won’t be a problem.
With thermometers, precision and measuring quality are, of course, also important. Xiaomi’s thermometer can measure temperature with accuracy to one decimal place, which is excellent accuracy for quick and flawless readings.
To easily and promptly find out the current temperature, an integrated LCD display comes in handy. You start the measurement by pressing the button on the top of the device. There’s also a quiet measuring mode for when you don’t want to wake up your kids.
For comfortable and hygienic measuring, silicone covers slide over the measuring head itself. You get 20 of these covers in the package, and if you need more, it’s nothing easier than ordering extra ones for a few small coins.
A useful feature is also the battery-saving mode. If the thermometer is turned on and inactive for 15 seconds, it will automatically turn off. You’ll also find a portable protective case in the box, so you can take the thermometer with you anywhere.
Great price
The new Xiaomi ear thermometer is currently available only on the Chinese market. The price was set at 169 Chinese yuan, which after conversion is just 21 € / 25 $. That’s truly a great price.
