Dreame D9 robot vacuum cleaner
The new robot vacuum cleaner called Dreame D9 arrives in a fairly large package. However, considering the product size, that’s understandable—the value stopped at 350 x 350 x 96,8 millimeters. The weight of this device is then 3800 grams.
In addition to the vacuum cleaner itself, this product package includes a charging station and a range of accessories. You’ll also find a power cable for the mains, a brush for cleaning dirt, as well as a water tank, an antibacterial mop cloth, a brush for vacuuming, and a brief user manual.
The vacuum offers a truly rich suction power up to 3000 pa. It also features a laser LDS sensor for navigation (scans 2080 points per second) and intelligent SLAM planning. However, it’s a 2-in-1 type vacuum and, besides vacuuming, with the included accessories it also offers a mopping function.
Vacuuming and mopping
There are several types of cleaning modes, plus vacuuming and mopping at the same time, as well as multiple types of the mop function itself. The vacuum can also vacuum carpets, overcome obstacles up to two centimeters. The equipment includes a so-called “carpet” mode, where it automatically detects a carpet and increases its suction power to the maximum.
With a single charge thanks to the 5200 mAh battery, it can vacuum up to 250 square meters. In terms of runtime, the vacuum can work for up to 150 minutes on one charge. The kit includes a 570 ml dust tank; the water tank is separate and has a 270 ml capacity.
With one tank, the vacuum can mop 200 m2 of area, and in the app you can also set the water release intensity because the tank includes a pump. For perfect orientation, there are 13 intelligent sensors.
Another advantage is the connection to your smartphone and advanced map creation. The vacuum can create maps of up to three floors, divide rooms, and therefore also supports room recognition. It also includes room editing, virtual walls, and continuing to clean where the vacuum left off.
