The Chinese giant Xiaomi, in mid-December 2022, unveiled a new flagship series of Xiaomi 13 on the domestic market. In the thirteenth lineup of premium smartphones, there are currently two models: Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The specs of these models are truly top-tier, and the devices also did great in the design department. So it’s no wonder that global fans of the Chinese giant are eagerly waiting for the official global presentation.
Global launch this month?
The tech portal xiaomiui, which—just as the name suggests—focuses mostly on the Xiaomi brand and its MIUI software layer, has recently published an article that shows us that the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro flagships will reach the global market very soon.
In MIUI internal code and the IMEI database, there appeared interesting information that clearly points to the upcoming arrival of the smartphones to the world market. Ideally, if everything goes as planned, the devices could make it to our region this month, or at the very beginning of next one.
From the snapshots above, unfortunately, we can’t learn much about the new smartphones, but thanks to IMEI certification, the upcoming global launch is almost certain. So anyone who had their eye on the new flagships can definitely start looking forward to it.
We also have to praise the Chinese giant for preparing global availability relatively quickly. If the smartphones are indeed introduced within the announced timeframe, it will be a significant improvement over the Xiaomi 12 series. Back then, we had to wait more than three months for the global variants.

Besides a beautiful display, a packed camera setup, and great battery life, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones can especially be praised for the premium processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which ranks among the world’s top performers. Xiaomi definitely made sure the first-class smartphone experience is on point.
