The hand-welded HIGOLD nano sink is not sold in European stores, so until now we had no photos from a real kitchen. Customer Jakub changed that. He ordered the sink through us on August 25 and had it at home on October 6. He immediately sent us photos and an unboxing video and described his first impressions.
He ordered the largest version with a width of 80 cm and a pull-out faucet to go with it. Below are his observations and photos. The tracking also shows how long the sink will be traveling.
It traveled from China for 29 days, and no customs duty or VAT had to be paid
The shipment was carried by the Chinese logistics company 17FEIA. The carrier took it over on September 7, it left the warehouse in Shenzhen on September 12, and then continued by land through Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus. It entered the EU on September 29 and was cleared in Poland on October 1. In Slovakia, the parcel was delivered by UPS.
The journey itself took 29 days, exactly as we promised for the sink. On top of that, you need to add roughly two weeks for the order to be prepared and handed over to the carrier. So from order to delivery, 42 days passed. When receiving it, Jakub did not have to pay anything extra. Customs duty and VAT are already included in the price. You can find the whole day-by-day journey in the table at the end of the article.
You can buy the HIGOLD nano sink on Gshopper with a coupon

When two boxes travel for a month across half the world, you naturally worry whether they’ll arrive in one piece. Jakub wrote to us about the package in messages on the Deal Planet page:
Shipping: Truck transport directly from the manufacturer. Delivery time was 5 weeks. Parcel condition: The box and the parcel itself arrived without any damage at all.
Transport protection: The sink is packed very tightly and securely. The box is made of sturdy cardboard, the corners and walls are protected with thick polystyrene, and the sink itself is additionally wrapped in protective non-woven fabric.

The faucet has its own box. It sits on top of the sink box, and both are packed together as one unit. According to the label on the packaging, it is a pull-out kitchen faucet from the LP series. In his message, Jakub wrote about 5 weeks, while tracking showed the parcel with the carrier for 29 days.

The box contains the sink, the siphon, and the pull-out faucet
Everything you need for installation comes in one package. Jakub listed what he found inside:
The sink (largest version, width 80 cm), a complete siphon with accessories (packed in a separate bag), and a faucet with a pull-out head.
Source: customer Jakub
The faucet is placed in shaped foam together with the connecting hoses and shower head. The 800 × 450 mm version is the largest of the three, and its basin measures 750 × 350 mm. For countertop installation, it needs a cutout of 750 × 420 mm; for under-mount installation, 750 × 350 mm.
You can install the faucet in three different places
Jakub wrote the most about the material and design, and he also mentioned a detail you wouldn’t notice from the product photos:
Material: Matte stainless steel that feels very high-quality and pleasant to the touch. Weight: The sink weighs approximately 4,5 kg.
Design: Clean lines, recessed drains, and an opening for the faucet and controls. The faucet can be mounted in three different places on the sink and doesn’t have to be only in the center, which is a huge advantage for me because of the window I have in the kitchen right behind the planned sink.
The first impression of the product is truly excellent. The product feels robust, modern, and premium. I am very satisfied, and my wife is just as excited about it.
In the video, you can clearly see three openings along the back edge of the sink. If you have a window or a low shelf behind the sink, you can place the faucet in the corner, and when you open the window it won’t get in the way. The openings have a diameter of 35 mm and are pre-drilled, so you don’t need to drill anything into the sink.

Video: This is what unboxing the HIGOLD sink looks like
Jakub recorded the full unboxing: he opens the box, takes out the bag with the siphon, and finally unpacks the sink from the non-woven fabric. At the end of the video you can also see the matte grey surface and the drain placement.
Jakub also promised us photos from the installation. Once he sends them, we’ll add to the article how the sink is mounted into the countertop and how it turned out in the kitchen. You can find all the specs and the three sizes in our original article about the HIGOLD sink.
What to keep in mind during installation
While we’re waiting for Jakub’s installation photos, we heard from another customer from the Czech Republic who has had the sink at home for almost a month now. He’s satisfied, but he points out two things when connecting it:
I can confirm, the sink has been at my place for almost a month already… everything OK. Just 2 things:
1/ the battery can’t be connected to the existing water lines (in the Czech Republic, I assume it’s the same in Slovakia too); you need to buy an adapter (hoses at OBI)
2/ the drain also can’t be connected—unfortunately they didn’t have the adapter even at OBI either. It was solved by buying connecting pipes and Novodur glue
Everything else is OK.
So, when planning the installation, add two extra parts. The faucet needs a reducing hose to connect it to the home water lines, which the customer bought at OBI. Specifically, it’s a flexible stainless-steel hose F3/8″ × M1/2″, meaning it has an internal thread of 3/8″ for the corner valve and an external 1/2″ for the faucet supply. For the drain adapter, he didn’t find one—what helped was a transition pipe glued with PVC glue. If you’re having a plumber install the sink, tell them in advance so they bring the parts with them.
